About the Event
Whether this is your introduction to these practices or you have been at it for a while this is your chance to connect with yourself and others. Â We will explore various forms of active breathwork from different traditions including Kundalini yoga, sound healing, singing and chanting. We will practice ancient meditations as well as some that are contemporary. The goal is to find the thing that works for you so you can bring more of these calming/energizing practices to your life.
When you slow down, breathe deeply and feel you can connect with your truest self. While practicing breathing and meditation, the focus is not on fixing ourselves but on affirming that we already possess what we need.
This 90-minute session involves approximately an hour of movement and gentle stretching, followed by breathwork and meditation. The movement segment is designed to prepare you for the meditation practice.
