About the Event
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming book club discussion, where we will delve into the enchanting collection, You Are Here: Poetry in the Natural World, edited and introduced by the esteemed poet Ada Limón. Come with us on a deep dive into nature's beauty through words of talented contemporary poets.
Ada Limón’s insightful introduction sets the stage for a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world and our place within it. Her curation of this anthology brings together an interesting blend of perspectives, each poem offering a unique reflection on nature’s wonders and its intricate relationship with humanity. You Are Here features fifty previously unpublished poems from some of the nation’s most accomplished poets, including Joy Harjo, Diane Seuss, Rigoberto González, Jericho Brown, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Paul Tran, and more.
We hope this discussion will provide, as always, a welcoming space to share your thoughts, insights, and questions. We look forward to an evening of thoughtful conversation, inspiration, and connection.

“Lush with lyricism and striking imagery, these poems by Jericho Brown, Diane Seuss, and others contemplate seascapes, backyards, national borders, and built environments where life sings beneath the surface.”—POETS & WRITERS
