Shala + Lexington Writer's Room Book Club: February

This month, we will read and discuss at the themes of love, acceptance, and connection in bell hooks' book, all about love. In this book, hooks explores the complexities of loving relationships, and shows us a path to finding deeper understanding and acceptance of ourselves and others.  Whether you are looking to develop your own relationships or just looking to gain a greater understanding of what it means to love, all about love will give you plenty to think about and discuss.

From our reading and conversation you will gain insight into the connection between your physical, mental, and spiritual health, and discover the tools you need to be the most fulfilled version of yourself. The goal is that together we will explore the ways we can maximize our well-being and embrace our authentic selves.

Let's explore our beliefs and values together and figure out why we are here, together.

If you can't join us for the in-person discussion consider reading the book anyway. It changes something when many people are mulling over the same ideas.
