About the Event
Please join us for all-levels (really) yoga designed to help you explore the practice of compassion. Everyone is welcome.
The combination of Yoga Nidra and Singing Bowls is a powerful tool for cultivating deep relaxation and promoting healing. Through these practices, you can become more attuned to the sensations of your body, allowing you to tap into the part of the brain that facilitates rest and restoration. In fact, the yogis say that just 40 minutes of Yoga Nidra can be equivalent to several hours of sleep. This practice offers profound benefits for our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Each practice can stand alone so you can come once or come back for each session as each will be just a bit different from the practice before.
Please bring a mat and blanket and any other props that will make you feel more comfortable. This is a lying down sort of practice.
Your $20 donation includes the practice as well as entry to the museum and Shades of Compassion. This is the world premiere of the international photography exhibition featuring works by Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham and forty more renowned
photographers worldwide whose visions collectively provide a unique perspective on compassion.
You can pay at the museum you when you come and R.S.V.P. here so we know how many people to expect.
